We’re putting together a makerspace.

Patchwork is a community makerspace that fosters local mutual aid and the solidarity economy. After years of organizing in the neighborhood, and months of running a successful pop up, we are making our dream space a reality!

Patchwork fills a critical gap as an independent organization that is of, by, and for the working-class community in Ward 2 and beyond. We are a hub that fosters creativity, collaboration, and cross-pollination among community members and organizations committed to a more free and caring world. Patchwork offers classes, workshops, and skillshares, community meeting space, a tool library, shared workspace, music performance space, and reservable event space.

We operates as a member-run cooperative, offering sliding scale monthly memberships between 10-100 a month. Patchwork has hit over 100 members in just the last 3 months!

Next month, we plan to move into a new space and to get it ready we need help from our community.
