Pat Foley Marathon 2023

From the years 2009-2019, my absolute favorite thing annually was running my Boston Marathon fundraiser event. Over the years, not only was it one of the funniest nights of the year, but more importantly, it showed what we can accomplish when we work together as a community. Whether our fundraising efforts were for our troops, cancer patients or Boston Children’s Hospital, we always crushed it to the tune of over $400k in total over the years.

2020 was going to be my last year running the event and I don’t need to remind everyone what happened that year. Since then we were dealing with constant changes regarding mandates regarding capacity, times of operation, masks, etc all with the constant threats of more shutdowns looming over all of us. I haven’t held the event during this because quite honestly it would not have been at the standard I have set for it and the expectations I have for it. I have been upset over the past couple of years that Covid dictated decisions and not me. It gives me great pride that on April 1, 2023, we will once again be hosting this event at J. J Foley’s. The time that has passed since the last event I guarantee will only make this night even better. I can’t wait for all of us to come together bigger and better than ever for a night filled with great prizes, food, DJ, and dancing. Anybody who can help out with an auction item or drawings DM me! All proceeds will benefit Project Deep and Quincy Special Needs Sports programs. It’s always tough to bring something back after time off but knowing the community we live in, I don’t see it being an issue.
