Passionate Period Project
Donation protected
Founded in April 2021 by two dedicated high school students (Kendall Sebasky and Ingrid Wulf) in response to a critical need for menstrual products at Mound Westonka High School, Passionate Period Project is committed to ensuring free and reliable access to menstrual care for all individuals in our community. We believe that everyone deserves the dignity of having period products available when they need them, without stigma or barriers.
Our mission is to normalize conversations about menstrual health, break down harmful stigmas, and promote equity through education, advocacy, and direct service. We provide a diverse range of menstrual products—prioritizing eco-friendly options whenever feasible—to meet the varied needs of those we serve.
We carry out this mission through hands-on service projects such as organizing product drives and assembling and distributing period packs to women facing homelessness. Fundraising events support these efforts, ensuring that all donations go directly toward purchasing essential products.
Constantly evolving, we prioritize training new leaders and expanding our reach to more community locations throughout Mound Westonka and the greater Minnesota area. By scaling our operations and building partnerships, we strive to create lasting, positive change in menstrual health access both locally and beyond.
Together, we are making a difference—one bathroom, one period, and one person at a time.
Here is the data about the impact Passionate Period Project has made since it was founded. In a recent online survey (December 4th, 2023) conducted by PPP:
88% of the menstruators use Passionate Period Products
97% said they think period talk has been destigmatized because of Passionate Period Project
Thank you to our donors for making this impact possible by helping us provide menstrual health products in bathrooms!
