Passion House Project Launch

Located in Springfield, Missouri the Passion House Project is a startup nonprofit that provides new and gently used household items, furniture, and small appliances to low to moderate-income individuals so they can create a place to call home while living in comfort with dignity.

According to a recent survey of individuals and families within Springfield and surrounding areas, 59% of individuals do not feel that they have everything they need for their houses to feel like home. A staggering 73%of those surveyed stated that their house causes them stress and 35% report they are not comfortable inviting others to their home. Passion House Project is here to meet those needs and fill those gaps.

Passion House Project collaborates with The Connecting Grounds and has partnered with Drew Lewis Foundation to fill this need in our communities. TCG has graciously offered their warehouse for PHP to utilize and has a box truck to sell to PHP.

We have set our launch date for July 1, 2022.

We are asking our community to come together and help us raise the $50,000 in launch fees. Launch fees would help ensure salary for staff to run PHP for the rest of the year, fund the purchase of a box truck so we can pick up donations and make deliveries to clients being served, shelving for the warehouse space, gas and insurance for the rest of the year.
