My name is Jeff Sun, and I'm a proud member of Boy Scouts Troop 620, currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank - the highest achievement in Scouting.

Over the years, Scouting has taught me the value of community, respect, perseverance, and most importantly, how to make a difference in the world around me. Now, I'm planning my Eagle Scout project and I need your support to bring this vision to life.

Troy High School, located in the heart of our community, has been nurturing students for several years. Its commitment to education, coupled with a genuine concern for students' well-being, has helped shape the future of countless individuals. However, the school lost one of its most cherished teachers a few years ago - a loss deeply felt by students, faculty, and the wider community.

In memory of this beloved teacher, I plan to plant a tree within the school premises and install a commemorative plaque. This living monument will not only enhance the school's landscape but will also serve as a beacon of inspiration, reminding everyone of the lasting impact a dedicated teacher can have on the lives of their students. Moreover, the tree will contribute to our community's greener future, providing shade and improving air quality for years to come.

However, to make this happen, I need your support. Your generous donation will go directly towards the purchase of a healthy, mature tree, a professionally-engraved plaque, and necessary landscaping materials.

The project cost is estimated to be $2300 as we will be having a unique, bronze-plaque embedded in concrete with a nursery-bred crepe myrtle tree.
