Dear family and friends my name is Santiago Mendez do to the fire in altadena my family lost our home on january 8th we were woken up to smoke in the house and had to evacuate with only the the clothes on our back we are a family of 3 Just me my little brother and my mom, we will use the funds for a place to stay with a roof over our head .Never in a million years would we have thought we were ever going to go through this. In just a blink of an eye, we lost everything.

I am deeply saddened for everyone going through the same situation.
