In May of this year, I will be heading to Mwanza, Tanzania, for 7 days as part of a reconstructive surgery team. While there, I will perform anesthesia for complex pediatric reconstructive surgeries and provide education on anesthetic care for pediatric patients.

I will be traveling with Healing the Children, a non-profit that has partnered with the Bugando Medical Center. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care, serve as consultants for complex cases, and train local providers in how to perform these surgeries and care for patients receiving these procedures.

Contributions here will support the cost of my travel and housing while in Mwanza. If donations exceed the requested amount, they will be donated to Healing The Children to support the purchase of supplies and future medical trips.
