Puerto Rico Mission Trip

We are so excited to share a great opportunity that we have this summer with Parkside Community Church.  We are going to Puerto Rico to help the people continue to recover from Hurricane Maria.  You can imagine that rebuilding is still in progress. 

This is a one week mission trip from June 23-June 29.  Our goal is to involve ourselves with a new culture to learn, serve, and listen, so that we can partner to make a difference to help rebuild and serve our neighbor.  We expect to have a deep spiritual experience, having our worldview widened by a new community.  This is an opportunity for a life-changing week of service and learning.   

We are looking forward to having fun, meeting new people and sharing the love of God with others in need.  We trust that by giving of ourselves and our time, our hearts and minds will be opened. And we are sharing our story with you because we need your help.

We will be flying to San Juan, sleeping in an area church, working with Thirst Missions to do construction, and building relationships with the local community. We cherish your prayer support while we are gone for this week. 

In addition, we need to raise funds which will cover travel expenses, food, and the cost of our week of work in Puerto Rico.

Can we count on your prayer support and a financial gift of any amount towards the money we each need to raise that will help us give our time and energy to serve, learn and partner with the people of Puerto Rico?
