Parkers Estate Agents & Cancer Research UK

Several Parkers Estate & Lettings Agency team members are undertaking the Tough Mudder 10 miles + 20 obstacle challenge on May 19th, 2024. Craig, Danny, Matty, Harry and Greg will be committed to finishing Tough Mudder covered in sweat and mud and walk away battered and bruised - but cheering all the way, as it is all to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

For some of our 'Band of Mudders', this challenge is being done for a personal reason.

Harry, our sales manager at Parkers Reading, lost his step-mum to cancer and has continued to support the carers and researchers working to make a difference. Over the last two years, Harry has continued to increase his challenges to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research. He has completed both a 5k and 10k Race for Life event, and now, he is gearing up for his biggest physical and mental challenge yet. But for Harry, it's all worth it for such a noble cause!

Greg, our marketing manager, lost his grandfather to cancer and misses him every day, but always remembers how the developments in cancer research helped him fight for several years after his diagnosis. Greg's grandmother fought cancer, and thanks to the ongoing research and treatments discovered by Cancer Research and the care provided by the NHS, is standing strong.
