delay . Very delayed or no speech at all and intellectual disability amoung many other complications. We were told Parker would likely never walk . Parker proved them wrong and started walking independently at
age 2.5 . He still needs assistance walking over bumpy or uneven ground and cannot do stairs alone either . He still has quite a few falls on the average day and as he gets tired his balance gets very bad and his falls get more frequent . He absolutely loves going outside for walks in his stroller but he is getting too tall and big now for any regular stroller . We have looked into medical strollers for special needs children to grow with but they are very costly and range from 1500-2500$. We don't normally ask for help but this is something we wanted to see if anyone would like to participate in. A medical stroller would benefit Parker so he can continue doing one of the things he loves. It will also allow my sister to continue to take him out and about into public places as he is getting too big for shopping carts and he runs away from her as he won't stay in one place. It is a safety concern if she can't have him strapped into something. Parker also has a feeding tube and when they aren't home he needs to be able to sit while he gets fed and he is only content doing so while he gets pushed around
Any small donation to help my Sister and nephew would be greatly appreciated.
