Park Slope Food Pantry at Camp Friendship

Neighbors are volunteering to run a weekly food pantry in Park Slope out of Camp Friendship on 8th Street & 6th Ave to help families hit hard by the coronavirus health and economic crisis. In our first two weeks, we served over 175 families. While most goods are donated by local families, we want to raise funds to purchase wholesale produce at a good rate than we can then bag for families in need.

$22 allows us to buy 50 pounds of carrots.
$40 gets us 80 apples
$50 for a crate of watermelon.
$100 will buy 200 pounds of potatoes.

Volunteers will gather to sort these into pantry bags, and to distribute them each week to folks in the community. Can you pitch in so we can keep buying produce to supplement the goods being donated?
