On 13th April I will be attempting to run the Paris Marathon, supporting the incredible work that Alzheimer's Research UK are doing; looking to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia.
This is a cause that means a huge amount to a great number of people - it's the most cruel disease, and one that affected my dear Gran, Christine Curwen, who passed away in January 2022. I feel incredibly proud to have the opportunity to celebrate her astonishing life, and to try and raise money to benefit the amazing work being done to make Alzheimer's a thing of the past.
Any donation is greatly appreciated, and nothing is taken for granted. I have been training since December but unfortunately was struck down with the flu the past fortnight, so now scrambling to get back into the swing of things! Thanks so much in advance for reading this, and your support.
