On April 12th I will be attempting to run the Paris Marathon in memory of my dad Nigel. He was always very incessant on me doing either a sky dive or marathon at some point in my life, and (for some reason) I’ve decided running to be the more appropriate decision.

Dad loved Everton and always spoke very highly of all the work EitC do within Liverpool - he would always be the first to mention any awards the charity had achieved, and occasionally before kick off the two of us would visit the Everton school and college while attending events the charity had organised. It was in this atmosphere where I saw my dad at his happiest, and the memories that I hold of him will always contain some kind of blue. I am so grateful to of shared these times with him.
