In November 2023, amidst the devastating airstrikes in Gaza, a tragic fate befell my parents and my wife’s parents who not only lost their home but also found themselves battling illness amid the chaos. Similar to many others in Gaza, they are not obtaining essential medication.
Currently, my parents are in Rafah, where they, like thousands of others, are living in a tent with limited resources and access to medication. My wife’s parents are stranded in the Middle Area.
Our parents experience chronic pain that necessitates medication and significant pain management.
This campaign strives to help my parents and my wife’s parents depart Gaza to Egypt, with hopes of securing a US visa. The primary objective is to reunite them with us in the United States, where we can offer the crucial care they need.
- The typical expense for entering Egypt is $10,000 per person. My wife's brother needs to accompany their parents due to my father-in-law using a wheelchair and having vision issues. Therefore, a total of $50,000 is required for five individuals. The visa fees for the USA amount to $900 for everyone, and the flights for the entire group cost around $5000.
If the target money isn't met, the funds raised will still be used to aid family in surviving the ongoing conflict and its aftermath.
