Parents and research into miscarriages

So why am I running Sheffield half marathon with only 4 weeks to train? Well this has by far been the toughest year of mine and Amy’s lives. We went through multiple appointments and lots of rounds of medication initially and we finally got the pregnancy we were desperate for. We were absolutely on cloud 9 and we were not prepared or did we expect the heart break of a miscarriage. It took us many months but over time we began to get back on with things and 5 months later we got the surprise again, PREGNANT! 7 weeks passed and as relaxed and calm as we tried to be we got the awful shock again. Miscarriage number 2. This has absolutely broken us emotionally. So the purpose of this effort? You can join me in making a difference by having the dream of preventing any parent go through what we and many other have gone through.
