Parachuting for British Heart Foundation & CCFA

Lots of you will be aware that I volunteer with the Combined Cadet Force at school. This fantastic youth organisation gives young people the chance to experience a range of challenging and exciting activities and encourages the development of the Army's core values: courage, discipline, respect for others, integrity, loyalty and selfless commitment.
This year, cadets in my contingent have decided that they would like to display some of these values by jumping out of an aeroplane! They have decreed that their Contingent Commander (me!) should display loyalty, selfless commitment and a whole load of courage and join them!
They have also nominated two excellent charities that they would like to fund raise for. The British Heart Foundation is a well known national charity. The Combined Cadet Forces Association is less well known, but does amazing work supporting cadet forces with grants that enable contingents to buy equipment for the cadet use and to support individual cadets with the cost of expeditions and kit that they might not otherwise be able to afford.
If I am going to jump out of an aeroplane (did I mention I am TERRIFIED of heights?) I would love to be able to raise some money for these two very worthy causes.
Our jump date is 30th March 2024. I am sure that photos will be available of me looking absolutely petrified!
