Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi

Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi was incorporated and determined a non-profit organization to promote aloha ʻāina. It is the brainchild of a young Hawaiian girl who at age 9 made, "E Aloha ʻĀina - Care for our land, our ocean, and our people" her personal platform. From this motto, Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Aloha Hawaiʻi was born. Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi develops aloha ʻāina leaders, leaders for Hawaiʻi, through education, hands-on service in mālama wahi kupuna, resource management and restoration, and community engagement through activities of scholarship, stewardship, and leadership.

 

ʻImi ʻIke a Hoʻonaʻauao - Scholarship & Education

Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi believes in scholarship and education as a vessel for healing and empowerment. ʻIke and naʻauao is at the foundation of healthy choices, pono actions, and positive growth. We strive to provide cultural and educational resources that will engage and empower the community.

 

Hana a Mālama - Stewardship & Service

Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi believes in the importance of hana, mālama, and service. Through service and giving back to our ʻāina and our community, we contribute to its well-being and our well-being as kanaka. Through hana we also grow and learn. Ma ka hana ka ʻike. He aloha ka mālama.

 

Alakaʻi - Leadership & Youth Development

Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaiʻi believes in developing leaders for Hawaiʻi grounded in Hawaiʻi and the knowledge and understanding of our ʻāina, our culture, the Hawaiian language and all that makes us unique and special. We believe that everyone has the potential to be positive leaders. We believe that our youth will lead us forward into the future and it is our kuleana to help prepare them for the great tasks ahead.

 

Papahana Aloha ʻĀina Hawaii is fundraising to support our youth board and leadership development.  Donations received will go towards necessary equipment and supplies to support leadership development, training, and travel to represent Hawaiʻi.
