Papahana Aloha Aina Hawaii

Help raise money to benefit the youth of Papahana Aloha Aina Hawaii, a non-profit organization founded and guided by Native Hawaiian youth committed to aloha aina; Hawaiian language and cultural education and scholarship; land stewardship and environmental advocacy; and youth leadership and development.

Papahana Aloha Aina Hawaii safeguards, nurtures, and grows our natural resources by developing educated, community-minded and engaged, contributing leaders of advocacy and stewardship.

Papahana Aloha Aina Hawaii continuously fundraises to support its youth to attend, participate, and present at local, national, and international conferences. These opportunities allow them to grow as leaders; network with other youth and communities; learn new skills; and share their knowledge and love for their Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. Currently the organization is seeking financial support to send 10 Native Hawaiian youth to participate and present at the 2024 National UNITY Convention in Portland, Oregon in July 2024. Hundreds of native youth leaders will converge at the UNITY Conference to participate in board training, leadership development workshops, and educational cultural exchange. While UNITY has been around for nearly 50 years to provide Native American youth with opportunities to develop leadership skills and organizational experience, only in more recent years have Native Hawaiians been represented at UNITY.
