Hi mates. My name is Sasha a nurse from Qld. I’m desperately and passionately- trying to raise money for vulnerable kids in western Qld -Australia for 2020, that have requested help and are struggling. I’m really wanting to join the ‘variety bash’ in November but I can only join them if I raise $5000 for them. The ‘Variety Club’ are going to many different out back, rural schools, over 6 days - and we really want to be there when they presenting the kids and families with the goods we help raised. This will be so exciting!!!!. I’ve got till November to raise $5000. We have called ourselves ‘the panorama rangers’ as we live on ‘panorama’ drive, Nambour, and have a ‘ranger ute’. We’ve already managed to raise nearly $1000 by great friends helping us collect bottles and cans worth 10c each and taking them to the recycle depot ourselves. Thank you to all our beautiful mates for helping us. That’s nearly 10 000 cans and bottles we’ve taken by Ute load to the depot!! The Variety Club is totally a Children’s Club that helps any kids with disabilities, autism issues, or disadvantaged lives, and this magic club annually, raises money to be able to provide ‘wheelchairs’, ‘ramps to assist’, ‘all-ability playground equipment’ or whatever the schools have requested that ‘variety club’ can help with. The donors can go with them, but if they come up with the full $5000. My husband Benno, and I (Sasha)  want to witness the children  receiving the gifts our money helped raise. We are both passionate ‘Mental Health Nurses’ and taking our experience out to these families to offer support with bullying issues or whatever they are experiencing with their Mental Health as well. We are very excited about going but we have to still raise $4000 to join the convoy. 2020 - ‘the year of the invisible monster-COVID’ has made asking for donations difficult and a struggle!!. Many places we have approached, have been unable to support us. We are hoping by doing a fund raising page to the public -we could request some help from others out of our area - please . All money is 100% for the Variety club to help the disadvantaged children and we love the fact -we could witness where it goes!! We just need to raise another $4000 to join them Would someone PLEASE help us. We would be so grateful and will flood Facebook with all the photos of the kids and their families, if we can get there.
