Hello my name is YaYa! I am a first year student at Marquette University. I am currently enrolled in the College of Health Sciences with a major in biomedical sciences, with the intent to become a dentist in less developed countries. I was recently accepted to volunteer for the Dental Brigades under the Marquette chapter. The needed funds to attend this brigade is approximately $2000 and if there are excess funds the rest will be donated to the non-profit organization, Global Brigades. Global Brigades is an organization with a vision to improve equality of life by igniting the largest student-led social responsibility movement on the planet. Continuing, Global Brigade's mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. While on this brigade, I will be setting up a sustainable dental clinic in Panama. Allow me the opportunity to change our world.
