Pam's Bees

If you’ve been following our Biggar friend Pam Tennant and her Honey Bee rollercoaster, you may have heard that the worst has hit her hives!

One has been found to be infected with American Foulbrood (AFB a spore-forming bacterium called Paenibacillus. This means that all the bees, the hives and all equipment including spare hives/parts will need to be destroyed in order to try and stop the spread.

Following such sad news, we thought we would begin this go fund me to help get Pam’s Honey Bee adventures back up and running. The adventures she shared with everyone over the last couple of years has been intriguing and educational so I’m sure many would love to help with this. Also, those who had planned to buy some honey from Pam may be keen to put those few pounds into building up a new colony.

Pam would do anything for anyone – we all know this. Let’s do something for her!
