Help Pamela Battle Stage 4 Cancer with Faith, Family, and Your Support

"Family is everything—through thick and thin, we stick together." That's the motto our beloved sister Pamela has lived by, and now, as she faces a rare Stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma, we're rallying around her with the same unbreakable spirit.

Along with Pamela's three loving sisters, I’m asking for your help. The four sisters grew up close, and this unexpected change has brought them closer than ever.

Pamela, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, has always been guided by love, service, and sacrifice. But now, this rare and aggressive skin cancer, which started on an unexposed area of her body and has metastasized to her lungs and bones (affecting only about 1-5% of skin cancer cases), is testing her like never before.

Over the next 12 weeks, she will be facing immunotherapy, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments. Since the initial attempts at treatment did not result in the outcome we were hoping for, now we’re in fight mode. So much so, that Pam’s 88 year old mother will board a plane for the first time in over 20 years to be by her side.

The Challenges Ahead
Living in the small rural town of Martin, South Dakota with her husband, she faces challenges that I can only imagine. From a paycheck-to-paycheck family, Pamela is juggling her job, caring for her husband, daughter, and three precious grandchildren—all while battling exhaustion, pain, and mounting bills. We've worked to cover what we can as a family, but the costs are mounting: gas for frequent trips, vehicle maintenance on her aging car, uncovered medical expenses, lost wages, and now hotel rooms in Rapid City for extended treatment stays.

Despite it all, Pamela carries her responsibilities with incredible grace, strength, and faith, trusting that prayers are real and all prayers are heard.

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Your donations will directly ease this burden, allowing Pamela to focus on healing and family rather than worry. Specifically, funds will go toward:
  • Gas and travel costs (about $100 per round trip, multiple times a week).
  • Vehicle maintenance to ensure safe journeys.
  • Medical bills not covered by insurance.
  • Replacing lost income so she can rest and recover without financial stress.
  • Hotels and Meals when needed in Rapid City.

Together, with faith and community, we can give her the gift of hope and stability during this exhausting journey.

Join Us in Her Fight
Any contribution, big or small, means the world—whether it's $10 for a tank of gas or more to cover a treatment co-pay. If you can't donate, sharing this page with your network or lifting Pamela up in prayer is a huge help. We'll post regular updates on her progress, so you can see the real impact of your generosity. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Pamela, her sisters, and our family. God bless you.
