Palo Mobile Estates Residents

The owners of Palo Mobile Estates are attempting to convert the mobile home park into a condominium form of ownership.  These condominium conversions have resulted in financial losses to existing residents.  This proposed conversion will strip the residents of their legal rights and protections under the City of East Palo Alto Rent Stabilization Ordinance.  The owners of Palo Mobile Estates are in violation of agreements that they made related to the conversion of the park.  There could be other violations of law committed by the park owners related to the conversion.  The residents of Palo Mobile Estates are raising funds to retain legal help to address any violations of law or wrongful acts of the park owners related to the conversion.



We are a 117 unit park. Many residents/families have been here decades. Many low income families work very hard and have been blessed with an affordable place to call home. We want to keep it this way.
