PALO ALTO ARCHIVIST JON KINYON NEW COMPUTER
Donation protected
Jon Kinyon has been tirelessly archiving and maintaining Palo Alto history pages for years now using his own IMAC .
This work includes doing the graphic design and layout for the Palo Alto Historical Association's newsletter: The Tall Tree, his own research, which is shared in the Our Town of Palo Alto group, alumni sites for PA schools and also his research for his books in progress. One book is about his dad's murder cold case, another is about childhood in Palo Alto, and a third he's hoping to finish about the early history of Palo Alto.
Unlike Jon his computer has finally burned out and like many living on pandemic unemployment he hasn't the budget to replace the equipment and we will be losing his rich contributions to the archive sites we've all enjoyed for so long.
Unlike a lot of problems of these times this is an easy fix. We would like to raise the funds to replace Jon's 27" screen IMAC in time for the new edition 2021 IMAC release this spring.
