As part of this year's Palegrimage, we are taking another bite at the walk from Scarborough to Stockton-on-Tees in a 63 miles odyssey through some of the country's most beautiful terrain, while also being some of the most harsh to drag a keg up and downhill through (last year's journey had 5000 feet of incline) trust us we know what we're talking about!
Yes, we must be doyles to do it! And yes, the cause it worth it! We walk for The Great North Air Ambulance. More Smoggies are making their journey from all over the place, but this fundraiser will let you support our effort directly, and give us the feelgoods of knowing the impact we're having with our walking efforts.
This is all in support of The Great North Air Ambulance Service which operates three helicopter air ambulances across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria (and the Isle of Man). They are 100% reliant on donations.
The work they do is amazing, and they need our support- so give us your money so we can help them make a difference.
We're hoping big walk = big generosity, so please give what you can. (Anyone for a £1 a mile like back in school?)
Thanks in advance for your support, and don't forget you can come along and support on Sunday 24th August down at Smog alley too (the atmosphere is always epic). No walking required, just buy some drinks and know you're supporting a good cause.
