Paisley Project emerged 10 years ago from Karyl McKendry's personal journey. As a widow raising four children, working full-time, and moving three times, she realized that despite the commonality of widowhood, there were scant resources available for women like her.

She was determined to address the isolation of loss and the confusion faced by supporters. Over the past decade, our Paisley Project has honed tools and programs that guide widows through grief, rebuild their identities, and reclaim their futures.
