Chasing dreams isn't high on the priority list of most single moms with three children (one of which has special needs). Life is about the practical stuff: I'm building a business teaching Pilates to provide for my family. My dream is to create a specialized practice in Pilates to work with victims of trauma and abuse. To date, the only training available has been through books and it is limited in its teachings.

I have discovered an amazing opportunity and have learned first hand about the miraculous work of a retreat in Tyler, Texas that teaches this kind of healing. On the weekend of January 19th - 21st, this group is hosting their last event in Texas before they move to Florida where they will expand the size of their facility and the reach of their teaching. It is an immersive experience that teaches in a way that books cannot and I will learn all the skills I need to begin healing and teaching others in my business. The cost of participation is $4500, but I've been awarded a $1000 scholarship. So I'm writing you today to ask for your help to raise the remaining $3500 (plus $300 for room and board)  by January 16th.
