Paige in Peru 2025

Hi!

My name is Paige and I am going to Peru with some other young volunteers from my school, and many others, for 4 weeks in summer 2025 to help build essential things (like toilets) and help in conservation projects and reforesting. I am lucky enough to take many things like this for granted; however, many people can't. The programme is organised by Camps International.

I also get to work with the local community and learn all about Peru’s amazing people and culture, and landscapes.

As well as this, I’ll get to do a 5-day trek to Machu Picchu. Maybe I’ll even get to hug a llama?! That would be so awesome!

Please help me make a difference to Peruvian communities, families and young people like me, and support me in raising funds for my trip.

This Go Fund Me page was initially set up for donations to my planned sponsored 2023 New Year's Eve/New Year's Day sea dip, which you can read about in the updates below. However, I am now using it for my next big sponsored event - abseiling 100 metres down the Spinnaker Tower on 20th April.

It is my final fundraising push as, since my sponsored dip, I have raised a massive 97.5% of my target by selling homemade jewellery, crafts, cards, jam and bakes, car boot sales, gardening and other chores, and a big Quiz Night where I even acted as Quizmaster for the special Peru and Paddington round.

Please help me raise the last bit to smash my target!
