Support Paige

Paige is 26 years old with a new diagnosis of lymphoma. The diagnosis is new but the symptoms have been going on for the last couple months. Fatigue, weakness, poor immune system, fevers and a whole list of others (we counted 17!). Paige saw her oncologist yesterday. We have to determine staging yet but he said she is going to have a minimum of 4 months chemo. He confirmed she will not be able to work during this time because of how poor her immune system already is. It’s only going to get worse with the chemo. Due to the constant fatigue and other symptoms, Paige was not working full time at the time of her diagnosis. So she unfortunately does not have health insurance or any type of short term disability. Health insurance and cancer were the furthest from a 26 year olds mind. She is trying to get financial assistance from a place through the oncologist. That will hopefully help her cover her chemo. (Not for sure yet!) She still has thousands of bills racking up in tests. She also has her monthly bills that are coming in.

If you know Paige and you’re reading this you know Paige is one of the most giving people there is and now she needs all of our help. We don’t want her to worry about bills right now and we definitely don’t want her worrying about the cost of her testing. Which she is worrying about both. We want her to focus on kicking cancers ass and getting herself better. I know this is a very tough time for everyone but everyone is asking how they can help and honestly right now she needs help paying for her tests and bills. We will also try to keep everyone updated along the way. Today is a PET scan ($1700) and next week is a bone marrow biopsy.
