Pages for POTS – Dysautonomia Awareness Fundraiser 2025

Donation protected
Not all fundraising has to be physical — this October, it’s all about slowing down, switching off, and turning pages.

As the Community Engagement Officer for the Australian POTS Foundation — and someone living with POTS myself — I know how challenging it can be to join exercise-based fundraisers. So this year, I’ve created Pages for POTS, a virtual readathon with a fundraising twist.

Here’s how it works:
Choose your challenge — 30 minutes a day or 30 pages, it’s up to you.
Donate to support the cause and invite your friends and family to get involved.
Share what you’re reading and join the conversation with fellow book lovers.

Why 30? The diagnostic criteria for POTS includes a rise of 30 beats per minute (bpm) in heart rate upon standing. We’re turning that “30 bpm” into 30 pages or 30 minutes — a positive force for change.

All funds raised will directly support the Australian POTS Foundation — helping to fund local research, resources, and advocacy for our community.

Together, we can raise awareness and raise funds.
Because POTS matters.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More about the cause:
The Australian POTS Foundation is the only national organisation dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for those with POTS. Entirely volunteer-run and without government funding, the Foundation works to:

✅ Fund Australian-led research
✅ Improve clinical education
✅ Drive health policy reform
✅ Build a connected, empowered community for those with lived experience

With your support, we can help make the invisible visible — and create lasting, meaningful change in Australia.
