Hi! I’m Caitlyn Jewett, and I’m proud to represent Florida as Miss Sunshine State at USA National Miss this July. This national competition is about more than gowns and titles—it’s a platform for leadership, service, and advocacy.

I’m especially passionate about raising awareness for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how early trauma can shape a child’s long-term mental and physical health. Through this experience, I’ll have the chance to speak publicly, participate in service events, connect with leaders across the country, and grow as an advocate for vulnerable children and families.

My Goals

I’m currently working toward a career as a Child Life Specialist, supporting children and families during medical challenges through play, education, and emotional support.

Competing at USA National Miss gives me the opportunity to build the public speaking, leadership, and outreach skills I need to make a lasting impact in this field—and in the lives of the children I hope to serve.

If selected as the national titleholder, I’ll also earn a $10,000 scholarship, which will directly support my continued education and professional certification.
