Hello, my name is Anatalia, and I am living through the most difficult moment of my life.

My husband was detained by ICE in Detroit, Michigan while he was on his way to work, and since then he has been in detention for three months. I was left alone caring for our two small children: a 2-year-old boy and a newborn baby who is only 1 month old.

After his court hearing and with the support of our lawyer, we were able to get the judge to approve bond, but the amount is $50,000, which is impossible for me to afford.

Thanks to God, we were able to raise half of the money with the help of a foundation. We are now asking for your help to please share our link so we can make my husband’s release possible.

At this moment, I have no income. I have had to sell our belongings just to survive and to cover diapers, milk, and basic necessities for my children. Our lawyer has continued working on the case even though I have not been able to pay him, but he can no longer continue this way — and I understand, because no one can work for free for a long time.

My only wish is to reunite my family, so my children can hug their father again and we can continue this legal process together.
