Hi, my name is Alison Quennoz, and I’m the co-founder of the Pacific ROOT Coalition.
We are a community-led group of Pacific-area residents working to protect transparency, public participation, and informed decision-making around large-scale development proposals that could impact our town, our land, our infrastructure, our schools, and our shared resources.
Over the past several months, residents have been forced to fight for basic information through Sunshine Law requests, public records review, legal consultation, and direct participation in county and city meetings. As these proposals continue to move forward, our community needs the ability to respond with facts, not rumors — and that takes resources.
We are up against developers with attorneys, consultants, and deep pockets. Our community deserves the ability to ask hard questions, obtain records, seek legal guidance, and participate on equal footing.
Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover legal consultation and representation, Sunshine Law and public records requests, expert review of development documents, printing and administrative costs, and community outreach and education materials.
This is not about being “anti-growth.” It is about making sure decisions of this magnitude are made openly, lawfully, and with full public understanding of the long-term impacts.
Every donation helps us continue pushing for transparency, accountability, and protections for the people who actually live here.
Thank you for supporting our community and helping us make sure residents have a voice in the process.
