Hi I’m Connie and I have an opportunity to go on an adventure with real impact by travelling to Kenya. For 4 weeks I’ll live and work alongside local people and get involved in a range of sustainable projects, from community development to environmental conservation.

I’ll travel with a group from my school, organised by Camp International, in 2026 when I’m 16. Giving me two years to raise the funds needed.

This expedition will be challenging and push me outside of my comfort zone; by being away from home, staying in an unfamiliar environment, experiencing different foods, cultures, and climate, it will be tough. But I’m ready for the challenge which I believe will help me grow as a person and understand more about the world around me.

Not many people get the opportunity to explore these places in this way and I’m incredibly grateful to have this chance.
