Hello, My Name Ashton.

So many conversations have taken place with my family and friends  and even strangers of how uncertain this year has been and how we are all trying  to cope with the insanity. Back in March my Wife and I both lost our jobs in a two week span as did millions others nationwide. I remember looking at my wife, our three year old daughter and two year old son and thinking what are we going to do?

We did like so many others got on unemployment and hoped for the best. We made drastic lifestyle changes believing that we could somehow make it all work. Almost nine months later we're in the position of deciding  whether we should put food on the table or pay rent. Coupled with the fear that the eviction moratorium goes away in January we are at our wits end.

Then, we had an idea. While we need help, so do many others facing housing insecurities.

With that said, we decided to raise money not only to keep our family housed, but to pay it forward to help many others in this situation.  We're calling this campaign "Roof Raiser's. We will pay it forward to another person/family in need with all monies over and above our goal.  

Our goal is to help hundreds of people/families keep their heads above water during this trying time. Our Government won't help us so it's time to help each other.
