Help Stephanie and Her Family Find Stability

Hi, my name is Joshua Kohan, and I’m a dentist working in a low-income area. I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible coworker, Stephanie, who is facing an unimaginable challenge. Stephanie is one of my favorite dedicated dental assistants who brings so much care and compassion to her work. Stephanie always has a smile on her face at work and gives comfort to the patients that we see. Although she tries to hide it, I see the pain in her heart. It breaks my heart seeing her cry in the break room.

Despite her tireless efforts, Stephanie is at risk of losing her home. She’s a single mother to two wonderful kids and the proud caretaker of four lovable dogs. She works two jobs, often coming home late at night, only to stay up making lunch for her kids to take to school the next day. She is one of the most selfless people I am blessed to know.

Unfortunately, Stephanie receives no financial support from her ex-husband, leaving her to shoulder the full financial burden on her own. Rising expenses and unforeseen circumstances have made it impossible for her to keep up, and she’s now on the verge of homelessness—a heartbreaking situation for anyone, but especially for her children and their beloved pets.

No mother should have to sacrifice precious time with her kids just to keep a roof over their heads. Let’s come together to support this resilient and loving family in their time of need.
