On Monday, February 9th, in the middle of the day while he was at work, Santos Interiano Argueta (who we all know as “Santos”) received the call no one ever wants to get: his house was on fire. By the time he made it home that afternoon, the entire house had burned to the ground. There was nothing left to salvage.

In an instant, Santos, his wife, and their two beautiful daughters lost everything — clothing, furniture, computers, personal belongings, and the irreplaceable things that matter most: family photos and memories. After seeing the damage, Santos felt completely defeated and didn’t know how his family would recover.

But we told him what we know to be true: Long Island shows up for its own — especially in moments like this.

Santos is the kind of person who is always there for everyone else. He works hard, he supports his family, and he brings kindness and reliability to our team every day. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
