Hey all, here is an update:

My Doctor did not like some results from hospital tests so she sent me back to a new cardiologist. I went and fortunately, my legs were swollen like sausages. I day fortunately because if they can't see it they can't do anything. I also gained 15 lbs of fluid. I actually weighed 128 lbs...the biggest I have been in 4 years!!!

Shes was alarmed and put me on Lasix. She also reviewed my files and told me that I have a heart murmur and I am slated to go back this month.

I had my post-surgical on Wednesday. I did my CAT SCAN and then consulted with Dr. Galloway.

The first thing he did was give me a big hug. Then he said.." It makes me so happy to see you alive..you just don't know how bad it was".

He proceeded to tell me how bad the infection was and how shocked he was when he encountered it.

So the CAT SCAN looked good. He was shocked at how well the muscle seemed to be doing. I do have an infection in the incision. He had anticipated it would have been the whole incision but it's not.

Unfortunately I still have this damn feeding tube. He is worried about nutrition...especially with my taste still being messed up. He told me it might be a year before my taste buds come back. He was very surprised and told me I am three months ahead in my recovery. He expected quite a few setbacks based on the severity of my situation

I am still under a lot of restrictions and still have to wear my binder. Can't lift, twists, bend, etc. Having a hard time with this Brain fog/memory loss. It's really messing with me but trudging through. Next we begin the neurological tests on Wednesday. Will be narrowing down additional nerve damage source and if anything additional can be done to keep the pain away.

Thanking EVERYONE who assisted us. Making 63% of our Goal has been a relief.

Unfortunately the Bills are still coming in. we found some of our Dr's were not on the network-meaning out of pocket at higher cost. We are currently pending approximately $3500 in additional costs. If we could eliminate that stress we could hopefully get through the rest of the year unscathed. It's been very wild and crazy with 3.5 more months to go.
