Hi beloveds!!!

My name is Jamie McAnaugh and I am an trans woman. I celebrated my 32nd birthday a few days ago on April 18, and I have my Facial Feminization Surgery coming up on April 30!

Facial Feminization Surgery is an invasive procedure that requires at least a month of strict bed rest to recover from. I will be on general anesthesia for the procedure and on heavy pain meds thereafter. Because of this I will be out of work for a month!

I am very lucky to be employed by two wonderful companies, but Oakland is an expensive place to live and I will not be making the money I am normally able to make during the month of May while I am recovering.

Thats where you all come in! If you are able to spare some money (even $5 helps! that’ll buy me some peanut butter!!!), I will be able to recover in peace and not have to overstrain my body by working before I am recovered.

The money will be going to rent, bills, and food for the month of May while I’m out of work.
