Olave (38 ans) et Maya (31 ans) sont des femmes transgenres noires nées au Burundi, qui vivent en Belgique. Elles ont un rêve simple, mais très coûteux : subir deux opérations d'augmentation mammaire avant le 40e anniversaire d'Olave. Comme c'est la période des fêtes et que le 39e anniversaire d'Olave est proche (12 janvier 2023), elles ont demandé à FATSABBATS de les aider à organiser une campagne de collecte de fonds et une fête.

Olave (38) and Maya (31) are Burundi-born Black trans women - living and loving in Belgium - with a simple, but very expensive dream: to have twin breast augmentation surgeries before Olave's 40th birthday. As it is the holiday season and Olave's 39th birthday is around the corner (12th of January 2023), they asked Fatsabbats to help them facilitate a fundraising campaign and party.

Olave (38) en Maya (31) zijn twee zwarte trans vrouwen uit Burundi – die nu in België wonen - met een simpele, maar zeer dure droom: tegelijkertijd borstvergrotingen operaties ondergaan vóór Olave’s 40ste verjaardag. Omdat het de feestdagen zijn en Olave's 39e verjaardag voor de deur staat (12 januari 2023), vroegen ze Fatsabbats om hen te helpen bij het faciliteren van een geldinzamelingsactie en een feest.
Bij Fatsabbats geloven we dat er een dorp voor nodig is om te transitioneren van gender. Maak dus deel uit van het dorp van Maya & Olave - doneer genereus, deel de inzameling binnen je netwerk en vier, met ons, de transformerende kracht van gemeenschap en solidariteit op 12 Januari 2023 bij Recyclart!
