We're losing our house

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are losing our house in September. We do not have problems paying our bills, but because of my wife's health & dialysis treatments for the last decade (and my health from time to time), we have no savings left.

No insurance company would cover her, and we could not afford the cost of her treatments ourselves, so she went onto state insurance. Every time we tried to save money, she was threatened with having her insurance (and her dialysis treatments) taken away.

She just hit her 1-year mark with her new kidney transplant, and we are finally able to get out from under so many income restrictions, but now the owner of the house we rent is letting it foreclose because he cannot afford the upkeep on this very old (and kind of run-down) house.

We have nowhere to go unless we move back down south with family, but that is over 2000 miles away and impossible to do in the current situation.
