On September 17th, my mom was detained by ICE and is currently being held at Eloy Detention Center in Arizona. She has lived in the United States for over 15 years. As many of you know, my mom has always been a hardworking woman who does her best to provide for my siblings. She has been their only guardian and the foundation of our family. Right now, she is facing extremely difficult conditions in detention. There are even days when she isn’t given a meal. Her three youngest children desperately need her emotional and physical support — they are in distress without the only parent they’ve ever depended on. I am asking for your help to raise funds for legal representation, so we can fight for her release and bring her home to her family as soon as possible.
