We lived in peace

My name is Nadi Hamad, 34 years old from northern Gaza. With two young daughters, and despite the challenges the world ignores, my brothers and I have always worked hard, facing challenges along the way. Before the war tore us apart, we spent our life savings building a home that would withstand four challenges for our future. It is unfortunate that everything we built turns into a claim in an instant. My job as a construction worker, laborer, and emotional home bears the brunt of this unjustified violence. The price of seeking and sharing the truth was high for me, as was the will to bear the consequences. I lost all my expensive equipment, work accessories, and everything dynamic when Israeli forces targeted our home. Now, there are no homeless, and specialties in the plane with limited resources, and we are struggling to lose our jobs. Today, with a heavy heart, I humbly ask for help for myself and my family. You and your generosity are my hope as we struggle to rebuild our shattered lives from the snow. Despite many setbacks, my determination to succeed and embrace life remains steadfast. Being Palestinian is embodied and the spirit is unwavering; I have a deep love for my country and am committed to shaping a brighter future for my family in Gaza. I ask that you consider your donations will make an incredible impact on our ability to burn and start a new life in Gaza once this is over. Initially, I decided to help my people and the community that I have been in North Gaza for months. However, this aid is intended for humanitarian assistance, who have lost everything. Direct then the continuous bombing of the house that was built with our blood and sweat and now it is still ongoing with 13 people living in a tent so I have launched this initiative to ask for help for myself and my family during these difficult times.
