The Ozone Park Residents Block Association has decided to take matters into our own hands. We are placing cameras in problem-prone locations and allow those areas to be live for everyone to see. 
The location is 86 street and 101 ave where we have seen a recent increase in crime,  homelessness and safety issues that we feel need to be addressed. we recently had the city remove a sexual predator that they placed in that shelter.  Now we want the entire area to be outfitted with cameras that will allow us and the NYPD to monitor the area 24/7 to keep our residents safe. 

We have posted the invoice on our facebook page and the funds are used solely and exclusively for the system. The internet and the usage is donated by the store owner of BJ's Deli 86-02 101 ave Ozone Park NY 11416. 

IF successful we will be buying another set of cameras to use as the community sees fit in other areas fo problem-prone locations to control the situations as warranted.
