Oxygen Cylinders going to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Donation protected
India is facing an extreme second wave of Coronavirus deaths, and the medical system is unable to cope with the ever increasing number of critical patients. There is a severe shortage of Oxygen for Covid patients. Some of these lives could be saved if Oxygen is made available in time.
We have arranged to send 450 oxygen cylinders of different sizes from Germany to Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee who are organizing Oxygen Langars i.e free camps for patients in need of oxygen. These free camps are operating at several Gurudwaras like Bangla Sahib and Damdaba Sahib in Delhi. We have uploaded a video of the ground situation at one of the Gurudwaras .
In addition Gurudwaras like Rakabganj Gurudwara are setting up bedded facilities to treat COVID patients for which we are supplying oxygen cylinders as well.
Please help us in raising 50 percent of the total cost of GBP 50,000.
The German organisation I work for has kindly committed to fund the 50 percent of the cylinder costs.
The funds will be used to pay to acquire cylinders from the manufacturer in Germany and the airfreight costs to bring these from Frankfurt to the Gurudwara in Delhi.
We need your support to help save lives in India.
We will be sharing regular updates until the cylinders are installed.
