This is one thing we never thought we would have done, but here we are & for a very good reason.

We’re starting this go fund me to help us with gas, food, any medical bills and anything else we may need while Cody isn’t working.

There’s something alot of you don’t know, and only family does so I’m gonna explain….

Within the hour of Owen being out, they immediately mentioned to us about him possibly having Downs Syndrome.

That’s completely okay if he does, he’s still loved just as much as Eli, and Daisy both.

He was doing great, we were even planning and talking about coming home this morning/lunch time today. Well, everything went down hill early this morning….

He failed his hearing test in his right ear, he also failed his heart test this morning too. They said they see this common in a lot of Down’s syndrome patients, but they don’t know for sure that he has it, it’s 50/50 and we will know for sure once testing comes back.

So far what we do know, they did find a heart murmur that seems very concerning to them but Oconee doesn’t have the resources to do further testing.

So they are transferring him to Greenville NICU, we did get to see him before they transferred. And it was the most emotional thing we’ve ever experienced!!

He was hooked up to an IV, he had to be put on Oxygen, he had wires all on his chest feet and hands. There was just so much hooked up to him it hit us hard.

We want to give a big thank you to our Preacher Ronnie who came up this morning and seen us! The time has was in our room talking to us the NICU transport team came in with Owen so we can see him before they left and it felt like it God was speaking to us right then and there and letting us know he’s watching over Owen. It felt meant to be, it was perfect timing.
