For the last two years, I have been involved with the White Lion mentoring program which aims to assist young people at risk by connecting them with positive role models. Having spent a fair bit of time with these young people, I have been truly inspired by their incredible resilience and courage to create better lives for themselves and others around them.
White Lion depends on fundraising activities to provide vital funds to run these programs so I am taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise $1,250 which will go directly towards making a huge difference to these vulnerable young people.
I am self-funding all costs associated with this challenge so 100% of your donation goes to the charity.
The aim is to reach the summit of three peaks in Australia:
Mt Bogong (VIC), Mt Kosciuszko (NSW – highest mountain in Australia) and Mt Tennent (ACT) in just 33 hours over 3 days. Having got the dates wrong for the group challenge, I am now attempting this solo - I may be fortunate enough to have a driver to drive me inbetween the mountains if I can find my way up and back again on my own!
Thank you for reading and donating xxx
