The Overpass Banner Project of St Louis is raising funds for these fabulous, massive 4' tall protest banners to be hung on overpasses and roads throughout the region. We will do everything we can to protect our democracy, and we know protests and signage are key to earning support. Overpass banners can be seen by tens of thousands of people in just a few hours, and those who drive beneath them return home to share the message.
Following the NO KINGS March 28th launch of the banners on the Highland, Bellevue, Clayton, and Oakland overpasses, we will share them with other activist groups in the St. Louis area. These groups can hang the banners on overpasses or hold them along roadsides as we continue protesting throughout the region - whether in South County, West County, North County, Saint Charles, St. Peters, or the city of St. Louis. The banners will become part of a "Banner Lending Library," available for use by anyone who wants to amplify our message.
The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing these and future banners, the zip ties for hanging them and American flags for volunteers to wave as they engage with drivers. Your support will help make these banners visible to thousands, inspire conversations, and strengthen our community's voice. Please consider contributing and sharing this fundraiser. In solidarity!
