On February 25th, our family’s world turned upside down.

My son Matt’s partner Brooke, a beautiful young mum of two precious babies, suffered a stroke completely out of the blue. One moment life was busy and full with a toddler and a newborn — the next, everything changed.

Brooke and Matt have two little children who need them more than ever:

• Tory, just 14 months old

• Nevaeh, only 6 weeks old

Instead of enjoying these precious early weeks as a family of four, they are now facing hospital visits and a long road to recovery.

Matt will need to take time off work to care for the children and support Brooke through her recovery. Unfortunately, when Matt doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid. With two babies in nappies, the financial pressure is immediate and overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help:

• Cover rent and household bills

• Provide groceries and essentials

• Support medical and rehabilitation expenses

• Allow Matt the time he needs to care for Brooke and their children without the added stress of financial hardship

No young family ever expects to face something like this. Brooke is strong, and we are believing in her recovery — but right now, they need support to get through this incredibly difficult time.
