Our Special Sarah
Donation protected
On September 19, Sarah woke up completely unable to use her left arm, not thinking it was more then a pinched nerve she headed to OSMH ER to be seen. Things went downhill from there, she suffered three seizures, many tests and the debilitating news that she had had an ischemic middle cerebral stroke. Her entire family lives in Scotland and they headed on a plane right away to be by her side. She has complete left arm paralysis and the doctors said it probably isn’t going to return. With 2 young children at home, sarah now needs to start the next chapter of her life with use of one arm. This comes with many challenges. She needs a new bathroom, accessible equipment etc. Sarah has made an impact on so many people’s lives as a nurse, that now its our turn to help her! If you would like to help Sarah make this transition easier any donations would be appreciated.
